Er arbeitete sieben Jahre lang als Dozent des Lüneburger Jazzworkshops, trat als Solokünstler mit Loopstation unter dem Titel Lukas und das Echo auf und spielt in den Hornsections von Bands wie der Mousse T. Band, Culcha Candela, The Ruffcats und The Capital Dance Orchestra. Derzeit wirkt Lukas Fröhlich in sechs Theater-Produktionen mit: am Maxim Gorki Theater, Berliner Ensemble, Deutschen Theater und in der Spielzeit 2024/25 am Schauspiel Hannover in Archiv der Sehnsüchte.
