Karin Nennemann absolvierte ihr Schauspielstudium in Hamburg und debütierte am Schauspielhaus Bochum. Karin Nennemann absolvierte ihr Schauspielstudium in Hamburg und debütierte am Schauspielhaus Bochum. Nachdem sie in Heidelberg Pädagogik für Deutsch und Geschichte studierte, gastierte sie an verschiedene Theater u. a. am Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg, am Staatstheater Nürnberg und am Theater Heidelberg. Darauf folgten Engagements u. a. am Theater Essen und am Theater am Turm in Frankfurt sowie in Hamburg an den Kammerspielen und am Thalia Theater. Während ihres Engagements am Staatstheater Darmstadt wurde 2001 Thomas Krupas Inszenierung „Chroma“ zum Berliner Theatertreffen eingeladen, in der sie mitspielte. Sie arbeitete mit bekannten Regisseur:innen wie Hansgünther Heyme, Jürgen Bosse, Elke Lang, Davud Bouchehri und Wilfried Minks. Karin Nennemann ist seit 1986 in verschiedenen Film- und Fernsehproduktionen zu sehen, 2023 in dem Fernsehfilm „Gold“ aus der Krimireihe „Tatort“ (Regie: Esther Wenger). In den 1990er Jahren wirkte sie in einigen Hörspielproduktionen des Norddeutschen Rundfunks mit. Sie ist zudem seit 1990 an der Schauspielschule Bühnenstudio Hamburg als Dozentin tätig.
