Die in Russland geborene deutsche Sopranistin Diana Schnürpel schloss ihr Studium an der Fachschule für Musik und Kunst im Fach Klavier mit Auszeichnung 2001 ab. Bis 2005 studierte sie im Fach Gesang an der Chorkunstakademie in Moskau bei Prof. Nina Rautio. Von 2006 bis 2010 war sie an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig bei Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich. Sie erhielt den 3. Preis beim VII. Nationalen und II. Internationalen J. Simándy Gesangswettbewerb 2011 in Szeged, Ungarn und nahm Unterricht bei dem Wagner-Tenor Manfred Jung, bevor sie mit Solokonzerten von Paul Hindemiths „Das Marienleben“ in Berlin und Bayern sowie Frankfurt am Main debütierte und sang die Partie der Braut in „Les Noces“ von Igor Stravinsky auf dem Klavierfestival Ruhr im Juli 2013. Ab 2013 sang sie die Partie der Königin der Nacht in Mozarts „Zauberflöte“ am Staatstheater Braunschweig, am Landestheater Detmold, am Stadttheater Klagenfurt, am Landestheater Salzburg und an der Oper Graz und auch am Deutschen Nationaltheater Weimar sowie dort die Partie der Schneekönigin von G.A. Albrecht. Diana Schnürpel ist auch als Lied- und Konzertsängerin tätig. Sie war Solistin der Kammermusik-Matinee des Luzerner Sinfonieorchesters und sang auch das Abschlusskonzert des Festivals „Musiksommer am Zürichsee“ 2020 und war 2021 Stipendiatin der Kulturstiftung Thüringen. In der Zeit von 2016 bis 2021 war Diana Schnürpel am Theater Luzern. Dort sang sie u. a. die Partie der Königin der Nacht, der Venus und Gepopo in „Le Grande Macabre“, Euredice in „Orfeo ed Euridice“, der Maria Stuarda und Füchslein Schlaukopf in „Das schlaue Füchslein“ sowie Rosina in „Il barbiere di Siviglia“. 2021 war Diana Schnürpel Grand Champion des QMC, Kanada. Sie gewann den 1. Preis der MAP, USA. 2022 folgten der 1. Preis beim Canadian IMC sowie der Grand Champion beim QMC. Auch bekam sie Platin beim Global IMC. Seit der Spielzeit 22/23 singt sie am Staatstheater Cottbus und den Bühnen Bern die Partie der Königin der Nacht. Am Volkstheater Rostock sang sie 2023 mit der Norddeutsche Philharmonie sowie das Open Air-Konzert mit den Berner Symphonieorchester unter der Leitung von James Conlon auf dem Bundesplatz, Bern. Diana Schnürpel gab ihr Debüt an der Deutschen Oper Berlin als Königin der Nacht im November 2023. Am Theater Bremen war sie in der Spielzeit 23/24 als Eurydike in „Orpheus in der Unterwelt“ zu erleben.
