Felix Krakau, geb. 1990 in Hamburg, studierte Theaterregie an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main sowie als Gast Szenisches Schreiben an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Es folgten Stationen am Schauspiel Frankfurt, der Schaubühne Berlin und bei den Salzburger Festspielen und Arbeiten als Regisseur und Autor u. a. am Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Volkstheater Wien, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Schauspielhaus Wien, Schauspiel Essen. 2019 gewann er mit der Ibsen-Überschreibung „Peer Gynt“ das Körber Studio Junge Regie am Thalia Theater Hamburg. Für seine literarische Arbeit erhielt er zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, zuletzt das Hessische Literaturstipendium in Prag, den 3. Else Lasker-Schüler-Stückepreis und ein Aufenthaltsstipendium der Roger-Willemsen-Stiftung im mare-Künstlerhaus. Für das Theater Bremen schrieb und inszenierte er in der letzten Spielzeit die Uraufführung „Royals“.
