Viktor Lamert wurde in Kasachstan geboren. Viktor Lamert wurde in Kasachstan geboren. Er studierte Theater- und Musikwissenschaft an der Universität Bayreuth, angewandte Theaterwissenschaft und Slavistik an der Universität Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen sowie künstlerische Praxis an der Hochschule der Künste Bern. Während des Studiums realisierte er als Performer, Kurator und Regisseur Theaterprojekte, die unter der Leitung von u. a. Lola Arias, Heiner Goebbels, Mårten Spångberg und Paul Norman entstanden sind. Am Theater Bremen arbeitet er seit der Spielzeit 22/23 als Regieassistent. In der ersten Spielzeit bekochte er mit seinen Soljanka-Sessions die Veranstaltungsreihe „Ostopie“. Als Musiker war er in „Die Erfindung des Jazz im Donbass“ (Regie: Armin Petras) auf der Bühne zu sehen, bei der Uraufführung von Lea Ypis Roman „Frei. Erwachsenwerden am Ende der Geschichte“ (Regie: Armin Petras) übernahm er die musikalische Leitung. Mit der Uraufführung „Draußen feiern die Leute“ nach dem Roman von Sven Pfizenmaier debütiert er am Theater Bremen als Regisseur.
