Die niederländische Bildende Künstlerin Anneleen De Causmaecker beschäftigt sich in ihren Arbeiten immer wieder mit dem Verhältnis von Raum und Zeit. Seit 2019 ist sie eng mit der Titptoe Company und der Produktionsplattform ChampdAction verbunden. Mit der Pianistin Colett Broeckaert bildet sie das Duo QFWFQ, aus dem visuelle Klanglandschaften entstehen. Auch mit Duobaan XL, einem Künstlerkollektiv bestehend aus M. De Maré (Autor und Performer) und B. Ardenois (Musiker), ist sie aktiv: Gemeinsam schaffen sie zeitgemäß klingende Antworten auf die Welt von heute. Ihre Arbeiten wurden u.a. im Concertgebouw Brugge, De Bijloke, Gent Festival of Flanders, Lunalia Festival Mechelen sowie in Rom (2016), Paris (2018) und Birmingham (2019) aufgeführt. Als Mitglied von Studio Radiaal arbeitet sie mit einem interdisziplinären Kollektiv an dem Projekt „Form a Line into a Circle“ daran, wie man die Linearität unterschiedlicher Disziplinen in einer Live-Performance durchbricht. 2019 erhielt sie den Artos-Förderpreis, 2011 den What’s next-Preis und den LAbO 3-Preis für die Multimedia-Installation „About Tape“. Diese wurde in deSingel, Flagey und M HKA gezeigt. 2015 wurde sie für einen Aufenthalt an der Academia Belgica in Rom ausgewählt.
An der Deutschen Oper am Rhein zeichnet Anneleen De Causmaecker in der Saison 2021/22 für das Bühnen- und Kostümbild für „Songs with roots“ verantwortlich.
