Juliana Curcio erhielt ihre musikalische Ausbildung an der State University New York in Potsdam und schloss diese 2011 mit dem Master-Studium an der Manhattan School of Music ab. Nach diversen Engagements an Bühnen in den USA und Kanada gab die Mezzosopranistin im letzten Frühjahr ihr Deutschland-Debüt am Theater Aachen in den Rollen als Hippolyta in Brittens "A Midsummer Nights Dream" und als Mrs. Lovett im Musical "Sweeney Todd". 2020 sang sie erstmals in der Carnegie Hall als Mezzosopran-Solistin der Athena Music Foundation. Zu ihrem Repertoire gehören Carmen, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Maddalena in "Rigoletto", La Suora Zelatrice in "Suor Angelica", Zita in "Gianni Schicci", Siebel in "Faust", Cherubino in "Le Nozze di Figaro" und Dorabella in "Così fan tutte". Nun ist sie erneut als Gast am Theater Aachen zu erleben.
