Futaba Ishizaki erhielt ihre Tanzausbildung in ihrer Heimatstadt Tokio an der Yamaji Rumiko Ballet School und an der Hamburg Ballet School John Neumeier, wo sie u.a. von Marianne Kruse und Kevin Haigen unterrichtet wurde. Ihre professionelle Karriere begann ebenfalls am Hamburg Ballet, wo sie u.a. die Titelrolle in „Giselle“ (John Neumeier) und die Helena in „A Midsummer Night’s Dream“ (John Neumeier) tanzte. Ebenso war sie in wichtigen Choreographien von Pierre Lacotte und August Bournonville zu sehen. 2016-2017 war sie Mitglied der Company des Houston Ballet. 2017 wechselte sie schließlich an das Ungarische Nationalballett Budapest und stand dort z.B. als Tamara in „Chroma“ (Wayne McGregor), in „Falling Angels“ (Jiri Kilián), „Bedroom Folk“ (Sharon Eyal) und vielen anderen Choreographien von George Balanchine, Robert North, Wayne Eagling, Hans van Manen, Frederick Ashton, Alexander Ekman und Rudi van Dantzig auf der Bühne.
Futaba Ishizaki wird mit dieser Spielzeit neues Mitglied der Compagnie des Ballett am Rhein.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Futaba Ishizaki got her dance education at Yamaji Rumiko Ballet School (Tokyo) and at the Hamburg Ballet School John Neumeier, where she worked with teachers as Marianna Kruse and Kevin Haigen. She also started her professional career in with the Hamburg Ballett where she danced the leading role in „Giselle“ (John Neumeier), Helena in „A Midsummer Night’s Dream“ and many other roles. She was also part of important choreographies by Pierre Lacotte and August Bournonville. 2016-2017 she danced in the company of Houston Ballet. In 2017 she joined the Hungarian National Ballet Budapest and performed as Tamara in „Chroma“ (Wayne McGregor), in „Falling Angels“ (Jiri Kilián), „Bedroom Folk“ (Sharon Eyal) and various other choreographies by George Balanchine, Robert North, Wayne Eagling, Hans van Manen, Frederick Ashton, Alexander Ekman and Rudi van Dantzig.
From this season on Futaba Ishizaki is a new member of the Ballett am Rhein company.
