Der in Aachen geborene Spieltenor Marcel Oleniecki erhielt 2015 seinen ersten Gesangsunterricht bei der Mezzosopranistin Marion Eckstein. 2016 begann er sein Studium an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln bei Prof. Claudia Kunz-Eisenlohr und schloss im Jahr 2021 sein Bachelor Gesangsstudium ab. Der Tenor nahm bereits im jungen Alter sehr erfolgreich an zahlreichen Wettbewerben und Meisterkursen teil. Im Jahr 2020 erhielt Marcel sein erstes Gastengagement am Theater Aachen, woraufhin er im Folgejahr Stipendiat der Theaterinitiative Aachen wurde. In der Spielzeit 2021/22 sang der Spieltenor als Ensemblemitglied sechs verschiedene Partien. Darunter die Titelpartie der Oper „Lo Speziale“, Remendado in „Carmen“, St. Brioche in „Die lustige Witwe“, Snout in „A Midsummer Night’s Dream“ und Tobias Ragg im Musical „Sweeney Todd“. Zu seinem Kernrepertoire gehören Partien des Tenorbuffo-Fachs wie Pedrillo ("Entführung aus dem Serail"), Monostatos ("Die Zauberflöte"), Die Knusperhexe ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Wenzel ("Die verkaufte Braut"). In der Spielzeit 22/23 gastiert Marcel Oleniecki am Theater Chemnitz und kommt auch als Gast ans Theater Aachen zurück. Demnächst ist Marcel Oleniecki in „Le Nozze di Figaro“ als Basilio und in der Wiederaufnahme von „Sweeney Todd“ als Tobias Ragg zu erleben.
