Janina Janke ist Bühnenbildnerin und forschende Künstlerin. Sie nimmt Räume und Gebäude zum Ausgangspunkt für Theater- und Kunstprojekte. Diese entstehen in lokalen und internationalen Kontexten auf der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Musik, Architektur und Wissenschaft. Sie arbeitete u. a. mit Oper Dynamo West über die Westberliner City, mit dem Komponisten Bill Dietz zu Le Corbusiers Unités d'habitation in Berlin und Marseille und im Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin, mit dem Künstler und Musiker Maurice de Martin als unknown spaces über die UN-Hauptquartiere in Wien, Nairobi, NYC und Genf sowie aktuell zum Thema Musik und Psychiatrie. Janina Janke ist seit 2013 Teil des Theater-Kollektivs Turbo Pascal.
