Patricia Knebel wurde 1991 in Essen geboren. Sie studierte Musikwissenschaft und Medienkulturwissenschaft an der Universität zu Köln und schloss ihr Masterstudium mit einer Arbeit über das immersive Potenzial in Bernd Alois Zimmermanns Oper DIE SOLDATEN ab. Während ihres Studiums arbeitete sie bei Schimmer PR in Köln, PACT Zollverein in Essen und beim Gürzenich-Orchester Köln in der Abteilung für Presse und Programmhefte. Zudem hospitierte sie am Theater Bonn bei den Produktionen JÉRUSALEM sowie ANATEVKA und war als Spielleiterin bei HAUSBESUCH EUROPA von Rimini Protokoll im Rahmen des Beethovenfestes Bonn 2016 tätig. Die Tanzplattform 2018 in Essen begleitete sie als Bloggerin und Vloggerin. Nach Beendigung ihres Studiums führte sie ein Volontariat in der Dramaturgie an die Bayerische Staatsoper nach München. Daran anschließend war sie dort als Regieassistentin bei EVA UND ADAM, einem Musiktheaterprojekt mit geflüchteten und in München beheimateten jungen Erwachsenen in der Regie von Jessica Glause, tätig. Zudem arbeitete sie als freie Autorin für u. a. das Gürzenich-Orchester Köln und die Bayerische Staatsoper. Seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 ist sie Dramaturgieassistentin an der Deutschen Oper in Berlin.
