Nina Rotner wurde in Ljubljana/Slowenien geboren. Am Konservatorium für Musik und Ballet Ljubljana studierte sie Jazz und Pop Gesang. Mehr als 10 Jahre lang war sie als Schauspielerin (Bühne, Film, Werbespots) und als Sprecherin aktiv. Sie gewann Preise für ihr Drehbuch zu „Spin The Bottle“ (Babic-Preis / Zlatolaska-Preis / 2. Preis beim Grossmann-Wettbewerb).
Sie studierte Jazz-Gesang am Jazz Institut Berlin (UdK Berlin/Hanns-Eisler Hochschule für Musik) und schloss dieses Studium 2015 ab. Sie gewann den 1. Preis beim internationalen Jazzgesang-Wettbewerb „Voicingers“ in Zory/Polen. Sie erhielt den 2. Preis in der Kategorie „Beste Jazzsolistin“ beim slowenischen Jazzpreis 2009. Sie ist Chorleiterin und Mitglied im Bundesverband Deutscher Gesangspädagogen. Sie tritt in und bei verschiedenen internationalen Jazzclubs, Festivals, Veranstaltungen und slowenischen TV-Shows auf. Seit 2019 ist sie zertifizierte Lehrerin der F.M. Alexander-Technik und Gründerin von „Alexander-Technik Slowenien“, wo sie Workshops, Kurse und Fortbildungen organisiert. Sie hat ein Diplom in Katholischer Theologie der Universität Ljubljana.
