Lio Klose wurde in Bremen geboren und arbeitet als international freischaffender Director of Photography. Gemeinsam mit Cantufan Klose forscht er künstlerisch an den Schnittmengen von Kinofilm und Theater bzw. Bildender, Darstellender sowie zeitbasierter Kunst. Seit 2011 erfolgen Kooperationen mit Regisseur:innen, Theatergruppen und Videokünstler:innen mit Live-Kamera/Video und vorproduziertem Bewegtbildmaterial für Theaterbühnen. Am Theater Bremen u. a. in „Milchwald“, „düsterer spatz am meer / hybrid (america)“, „Die tote Stadt“, „Lady Macbeth von Mzensk“ und „Pique dame“ von Armin Petras, „King Arthur – Teil 1“ von Schorsch Kamerun, „Das schweigende Mädchen“ von Marco Štorman, „Fidelio“ und „Falstaff“ von Paul-Georg Dittrich und „Il tabarro & Gianni Schicchi“ von Martin Berger. Neben Theaterprojekten ist er an diversen professionellen Bewegtbildproduktionen künstlerisch beteiligt.
