Aleksandra Pavlovic ist in Belgrad geboren und aufgewachsen, sie studierte Bühnen- und Filmgestaltung an der Universität für Angewandte Kunst in Belgrad und Wien. Seit 2009 lebt sie in Deutschland, wo sie an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee ihr Diplom in Bühnen- und Kostümbild absolvierte. Eine kontinuierliche Zusammenarbeit verbindet sie seit 2017 als freie Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin mit den Regisseur:innen Pinar Karabulut, Charlotte Sprenger, Elsa-Sophie Jach, Jessica Glause und dem FUX Kollektiv an Häusern wie u. a. Thalia Theater Hamburg, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele, Residenz Theater München, Schauspielhaus Wien, Volkstheater Wien und am Schauspiel Köln. 2021 erhielt sie den Eva-Bonacker Preis für besondere Leistungen in bühnenkünstlerischer Gestaltung am Thalia Theater Hamburg. Am Theater Bremen verantwortete sie in der Spielzeit 2021/22 die Kostüme für Pinar Karabuluts „Franziska. Ein modernes Mysterium“.
