Zu den aktuellen Projekten zählen „Altes Land“, sowie die kommenden Kinoproduktionen „Triangle of Sadness“, „Der Nachname“ und „Strom“.
Auch ihre Stimme begeistert, so ist sie als Sprecherin zahlreicher Hörspiele und -bücher für Kinder und Erwachsene bekannt.
Neben ihrer schauspielerischen Tätigkeit ist es Iris Berben immer auch ein Anliegen, in der Öffentlichkeit Haltung zu zeigen und für Toleranz und Mitmenschlichkeit einzutreten. Für ihr politisches Engagement erhielt sie unter anderem das Bundesverdienstkreuz Erster Klasse und wurde vom Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland mit dem Leo-Baeck-Preis ausgezeichnet.
