Young-Won Song studierte Tanz an der Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance. Nach Abschluss ihres Studiums war sie Mitglied der Salzburger Postgraduate-Kompanie Bodhi Project, wo sie mit Choreograf:innen wie Sita Ostheimer, Eldad Ben Sasson, Paul Blackman und Christine Gouzelis (Jukstapoz) und Mark Lorimer arbeitete. Daneben tanzte sie in Choreografien von Claire Croizé und Etienne Guilloteau (ECCE), Núria Guiu Sagarra, Máté Mészáros, Adrienn Hód (HODWORKS), Samir Akika, Helder Seabra, kainkollektiv, Barnaby Rooth, Ryan Mason und der in Berlin ansässigen Frantics Dance Company. Ihr gemeinsam mit dem Tänzer Diego de la Rosa entwickeltes Duett „One's“ gewann 2017 den Residenzpreis HELLERAU beim 31. Internationalen Wettbewerb für Choreographie Hannover. Seit der Spielzeit 18/19 ist sie festes Mitglied der Tanzkompanie Unusual Symptoms am Theater Bremen. In der Spielzeit 20/21 wirkte sie in Belgien als Tänzerin und Choreografin an der Produktion „Vuur/toren“ (Laika/hetpaleis) in der Regie von Michai Geyzen mit.
