Eva-Mareike Uhlig studierte Bühnenbild- und Kostümgestaltung an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. Sie arbeitete mit dem Regisseur, Bühnen-und Kostümbildner Herbert Wernicke am Theater Basel, den Salzburger Festspielen, dem Festival Aix-en-Provence, dem Teatro La Fenice, der Metropolitan Opera, dem Teatro Real in Madrid und der Bayerischen Staatsoper zusammen.

Eva-Mareike Uhlig studierte Bühnenbild- und Kostümgestaltung an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. Sie arbeitete mit dem Regisseur, Bühnen-und Kostümbildner Herbert Wernicke am Theater Basel, den Salzburger Festspielen, dem Festival Aix-en-Provence, dem Teatro La Fenice, der Metropolitan Opera, dem Teatro Real in Madrid und der Bayerischen Staatsoper zusammen.
An der Oper Frankfurt entstanden unter anderem Kostümbilder für ARIANE ET BARBE-BLEUE (Regie Sandra Leupold) und LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR (Regie Matthew Joselyn). Außerdem gestaltete sie am Schauspiel Frankfurt die Kostüme für DIE DREIGROSCHENOPER in der Regie von André Wilms und am Theater Bielefeld die Kostüme zu Händels Oratorium SAUL (Regie Jörg Behr). Es folgten gemeinsame Produktionen mit Regisseur Tilman Knabe und Regisseurin und Bühnenbildnerin Annika Haller (ARIADNE AUF NAXOS beim Festival Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte in Montepulciano, ELEKTRA und DON GIOVANNI am Staatstheater Mainz, PETER GRIMES am Theater Dortmund, HULDA am Theater Freiburg, JAKOB LENZ und PETER GRIMES am Staatstheater Nürnberg.)
Für die Bundesakademie Junges Musiktheater Rheinsberg war sie im Sommer 2022 bei drei Uraufführungen für die Umsetzung der Kostümideen junger Mitwirkender verantwortlich. 2023 gestaltete sie die Kostüme für die Musiktheaterproduktion PING PONG bei den Salzburger Festspielen und in diesem Frühjahr für ELEGIE FÜR JUNGE LIEBENDE an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg sowie für die Opernstudioproduktion LUCREZIA/DER MOND an der Bayerischen Staatsoper München.
