Seit 2005 ist Agunda Kulaeva Solistin der Nowaja Opera in Moskau. Ebenfalls 2005 gab sie ihr Debüt am Bolschoi Theater Moskau als Sonja in einer Neuproduktion von KRIEG UND FRIEDEN unter Leitung von Mstislaw Rostropowitsch und Alexander Vedernikov.
Sie gab Liederabende in Tambow, Wladikawkas, Jaroslawl und Ivanovka, war Solistin im Rahmen der Feierlichkeiten zum 60. Jahrestag des Endes des Zweiten Weltkrieges in Berlin, Paris und St. Petersburg.
Zu ihren jüngsten Engagements zählen Olga / EUGEN ONEGIN, Santuzza / CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA und Maddalena / RIGOLETTO an der Nowaja Opera Moskau, MESSA DA REQUIEM mit dem Moscow City Orchestra und dem Verdi Orchestra Milano, Amneris / AIDA beim Sommerfestival in Varna sowie Beethovens „Missa solemnis“ mit dem Noord Nederlands Orkest.
Als Carmen gab Agunda Kulaeva im Juli 2016 ihr Debüt an der Deutschen Oper Berlin und kehrt 2019/2020 als Preziosilla in Frank Castorfs Neuproduktion von LA FORZA DEL DESTINO hierher zurück.
