Daniel Eichholz wurde 1978 in Wolfsburg geboren. Er studierte Schlagzeug in Hamburg bei Prof. Joachim Winkler und in Berlin bei Prof. Edgar Guggeis, Prof. Rainer Seegers, Prof. Franz Schindlbeck und Prof. Li Biao. 2005 schloss er mit Diplom ab und studiert zurzeit Konzertexamen.
Daniel Eichholz spielte an der Hamburger Oper unter Ingo Metzmacher und mit den Berliner Philharmonikern unter Sir Simon Rattle. Im Percusemble Berlin und bei Musica Viva in München arbeitete Daniel Eichholz an zahlreichen Uraufführungen (Hölszky, Andre, Dillon) für Schlagzeugensemble mit. Er ist festes Mitglied im Zafraan Ensemble.
Als Drummer spielt er bei den mehrfach mit Gold ausgezeichneten 2raumwohnung, Squintaloo, Schulz und Soehne und ist als Studiodrummer u. a. für Marlon, Tenement und Tocotronic tätig gewesen. Konzertreisen führten ihn bis nach China, Südafrika und Nordamerika.
