Three Masterclasses for professional dancers present individual training approaches for classical and contemporary dance which can be observed by the audience. In a following talk, the artists will discuss various views and issues related to teaching with experts on dance medicine, architecture or theatre studies. This practice-oriented format is meant to incite new scientific training analyses in dance.

In the form of DVDs, Internet sites or downloads, new media offer expanded possibilities of conveying dance, choreography and training. These learning tools take up current creative processes and advance the aims of today’s training: to sharpen perception and strengthen reflection in order to unfold one’s own creative potential. Five Toolboxes will introduce various programs developed by choreographers in collaboration with scientists and media experts, making their specific working methods accessible.
