The art project “REFLECTION BY ALI ZÜLFIKAR” draws attention to an unforgettable cultural political wartime in our hearts. This concept is dedicated to the history after the Erdogan war in our world. What people have experienced after the Syrian war until today. Our perception of mentality, the environment, cultures, people, nature, the sensual, but also the painful are illusions that are based on three basic effects.

For 25 years, artist Ali Zülfikar has been drawing portraits of living legends depicting different characters in different communities. So far, the artist has painted portraits of art, politics, environmental activists and folk heroes. In this project, the artist shows politically critical art from Öcalan, Selahattin Demirtas, Erdogan, Merkel to environmental activist Greta-Thunberg in the large May Gallery. The portraits of world-class football icons Messi, Picasso, Che Guevara, Bukowski, Andy Warhol, Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Rosa Luxemburg and a total of 40 small works of art can be shown in a smaller space.

From September 2014, the artist Ali Zülfikar took part in a large-scale art campaign that showed portraits of victims in Syria. Three oversized works of art were created. The internationally successful artist shows his impressive, oversized faces with an expression of soul and depth.
