In 2006, Tanzplan Deutschland turned to the public with its activities and quickly attracted international attention. In many places, the time was ripe for newly defining the position of dance in the arts and society and to implement distinct structural enhancements. Meanwhile, a large number of dance or master plans are active, from Australia to Flanders. Invited by Tanzplan Deutschland, representatives of these initiatives discuss the contents and organisational forms that those involved in dance should acquire for the future.
