The reception of dance in our society is still to a large extent shaped by the aesthetic of traditional ballet, or it is regarded as one leisure activity among others. But how can long-term, professional marketing strategies be conceived so as to enhance the image of contemporary dance and its relevance to our society’s cultural life in general?
