Synopsis

Michale, a 30 year old Israeli woman, works in her father's office in Tel Aviv, which provides accounting services to important religious institutions. Michale has been cheating on her husband for months. Her life is split between her child, her husband, her work and her lover. Then one day, her life is shattered when she teams of the unexpected and tragic death of her lover.

Biography

Raphael Nadjari is an International filmmaker, born in France. Raphael's first film, The Shade, was shot in English in New York City, and was selected for the 1999 Cannes Film Festival. For his second feature, Nadjari chose to work in Super 8, with a 15 day shooting-I Am Josh Polonski’s Brother premiered at the Forum of New Cinema at the Berlin Film Festival in 2001, and was highly acclaimed when released in France. Nadjari’s New York Trilogy came to completion with Apartment #5C, presented at Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002. Avanim, shot in Tel-Aviv, took part in the Panorama special at the 2004 Berlin film festival.
