Theatrical Release July 9, 2020 DVD & VoD Release November 10, 2020
Synopsis
He was one of the Great Masters of photography, a legend. Elegant, playful, inventive, provocative, inspirational – and himself inspired by sharp observation and the deep roots of his childhood in Berlin of the 1920s. Berlin was him, and he was Berlin. But he also was much more. A cosmopolitan, at home in New York and Paris, Monte Carlo and Rome. And Helmut Newton still has a kind of cult status beyond the art world – even to this day, 14 years after his tragic death in Los Angeles. In 2020 he would have become 100 years old. A life like a movie – now, for the first time to be told for the big screen.
