Equinox
Synopsis
Alexander was never able to really fall in love. Or maybe he never wanted to. For him, fleeting relationships were always good enough. Until the day he met Paula, a revue artist. In her, he believes he’s found the love of his life. With her, he is happy as never before. But his new-found dream of a shared future comes to an abrupt end with Paula’s sudden death. When Alexander meets her sister Marlene, he hears about a different version of Paula that increasingly conflicts with his persistent daydreams of their perfect love story. Marlene for her part is sceptical, but also curious about the man who thinks he knew her mysterious sister so well. Their shared mourning brings the two closer together and soon Alexander has to decide between Paula, of whom only a fleeting image full of longing remains, and Marlene, who is standing right next to him.Nordic Film Days Talks: Click here for an interview with Lena Krauss, the director of "Equinox".
