Synopsis
COMMON WEALTH is a horror film about neighbors. It combines claustrophobic suspense with domestic action and high doses of human tragedy with lots of twisted humour.The heroine is Julia, a forty-ish woman who works selling apartments for a property developer. When she finds 300 million pesetas hidden in a dead man's apartment, she has no choice but to confront the anger of the rather offbeat residents' association, headed by its unscrupulous administrator. Black humour gives way to suspense, followed by terror and finally to straightforward action.
