Synopsis

The young king Henry, at 27 ruler of the most powerful country in the medieval world, is riddled with doubt and surrounded by political infighting. The Agincourt campaign was not a neatly assured victory, says Branagh, but a rain-soaked series of blunders, near misses and finally miraculous escape. Born in 1960 in Belfast, Kenneth Branagh studied Acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He acts at different theatres and TV productions, is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and writes theatre plays.
