SOUS LA DOUCHE, LE CIEL (Shower Power)
Synopsis
For five years, the DoucheFLUX citizens' initiative fights to find, finance and renovate a building that will allow the city's most disadvantaged to shower and where they can receive medical attention; in short, where they will be given back their dignity. Confronted with the political reality of the city, their undertaking turns into a real thriller. The self-image of the city's leaders does not want the poverty of the population to become visible in everyday life. In the end, however, civil courage prevails over Brussels bureaucracy and imagination over political blockades.Effi Weiss, born 1971, Amir Borenstein, born 1969, both in Israel.
